We are now into the Beta phase with our previews of the workouts with Focus T25 Speed 2.0! Beta phase is the second 5 weeks of T25. So it is kicked up a notch! So I have to tell you that Focus T25 Speed 2.0 is by far my favorite workout so far! After doing it that first time, I wanted to do it again that next day. Although I will have to say that when I finished, I checked to make sure I had done Speed 2.0 and not Speed 5.0! So anyways, after mastering the basics in Speed 1.0, Shaun T picks up the pace in this one and throws in some new speed moves. In fact, I think it’s completely different than Speed 1.0. No stretching in between moves with this one! It’s 25 minutes of non-stop SPEED! It goes by so fast that it really only feels like 15 minutes!
Focus T25 Speed 2.0-The Moves
So this one is set up quite differently than the previous workouts that we have covered so far from T25. There are rounds, and levels to those rounds. Just check it out below!

Round 1 Level 1 (30-40 seconds for each move)
Out + Out Turn
Quick Feet Up + Back
Alternating Speed Knee Slow
Slow Mountain Climber
Low Switch Kick
Speed + Agility
Up + Over
Round 1 Level 2 (15-20 seconds for each move)
(Repeat 8 previous moves)
Round 1 Level 3 (8-10 seconds for each move)
(Repeat previous 8 moves)
Round 2 Level 1 (30-40 seconds for each move)
Hop Up + Back
Hop Hop Squat
Squat Hop Up + Back
Single Leg Speed Knee (L)
Single Leg Speed Knee (R)
“X” Lunge Speed Time
Round 2 Level 2 (15-20 seconds for each move)
(Repeat previous 9 moves)
Round 2 Level 3 (8-10 seconds for each move)
(Repeat previous 9 moves)
From Top Level 1 (10 seconds for each move)
8 moves from round 1 and 9 moves from round 2 (2x)
From Top Level 2 (5 seconds for each move)
8 moves from round 1 and 9 moves from round 2 (1x)

Look confusing? It’s really not I promise. Focus T25 Speed 2.0 is all about speed and repeating the same moves. Each level in the same round you are just doing the same set of moves only picking up the speed and lessening the time. That’s it. Nothing too hard, but man does it make you work! AND sweat! My only word of advice would be to make sure that you are still focusing on form and doing each move correctly as you speed up. It’s easy to sacrifice form when trying to do something at a quicker pace. Speed it up when you can, slow it down when needed. Tania is there as the modifier again, so use her if you need! She is there for a reason. That is why ANYONE can do this workout! The modifications allow it.
Just like with my Insanity workouts, I eat a half of a banana and take my EnE Energy and Endurance about 20-30 minutes before working out to Focus T25 Speed 2.0. I am able to get so much more out of my workouts when I do. After is when I have my Shakeology to replenish my body. Make sure you replenish your body as well because it will need it! Also, make sure and be drinking at least half your body weight in ounces of water each day like Shaun T says! You need to make sure your body is properly hydrated!
